Bible Study Classes

Get The Full Story on THE STORY:  Join Pastor’s Wednesday Evening Small Group/Classrd, and runs throughout THE STORY Series.  Come join the Wednesday Small Group/Class on THE STORY for deeper discussion, sharing, and learning on the weekly lessons the HLC faith family will be using as our Sunday morning worship Bible lessons, sermon series, and Sunday school.  To “sweeten the deal,” the Wednesday STORY Group/Class will get special extra insights into how the Bible (“The Greatest Story Ever Told”) came about in the first place, and how THE STORY provides one among many creative and useful ways the Bible has been organized and presented to personalize and maximize believer’s learning and devotions.  The class is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  in the Donut Room.  When SPLASH begins we will even offer a free supper to anyone who comes.  For more info, text/call/e-mail Pastor Dave at 859-466-4635 or

Sunday 6:00 p.m.:  Men’s Group “The Sons of Thunder”—Men's Healing, Restoration, and Discipleship Group, meets at Hebron Lutheran Church on Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. downstairs in Room 103.  Men's souls are torn.  Today's politically correct voices cry out for men to be more sensitive, to tame their masculine nature.  On the opposing side, the media bombards men with "macho" images of violence and lust.  The Sons of Thunder men's group gives men hope for restoration by showing how Jesus has come to draw men to himself and heal them.  We offer a refreshing journey into the masculine soul, where we dare men to break free from deceptive stereotypes and discover the power and blessing of authentic manhood.  God is calling men today to get real with themselves and with him. We are giving powerful voice to this calling in every aspect of a man’s life—from sexuality and marriage to work and fatherhood.  For information contact Tom Heflin at 859-586-6697.
