The Life of Peter

This September, a new Adult Sunday School class will begin, focusing on the life of Peter and his New Testament letters, 1 Peter and 2 Peter.  Led by Rick Kloos, the first three sessions will follow Peter’s journey through the Gospel accounts—from Jesus’ call by the Sea of Galilee to Peter’s confession, struggles, and restoration. These lessons highlight Peter as a real, grace‑shaped disciple.  The class will then move into an in‑depth study of Peter’s letters, exploring themes of hope in suffering, holy living, spiritual growth, and standing firm in faith.  Together, these books reveal the heart of a seasoned shepherd and fit beautifully within the wider witness of the New Testament. All men and women are warmly invited to join beginning Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Room 205 at 10:15 a.m. between services.  Come grow in faith, deepen fellowship, and discover how Peter’s life and writings continue to strengthen believers today. Philippians: Living for Christ

The Women’s Adult Sunday School class will begin a new study on Philippians this fall using Lydia Brownback’s guide, Philippians: Living for Christ. This warm, accessible study walks through Paul’s letter chapter by chapter, helping women explore joy, humility, unity, and steadfast faith in Christ. Though 15 written from prison, Philippians overflows with confidence in Jesus, contentment in every circumstance, and a call to shine as lights in the world. Led by Debbie Kloos, this class offers meaningful fellowship, thoughtful discussion, and spiritual growth for women at any stage of their walk with Christ. Join us beginning Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Room 202 at 10:15 a.m. between services. Come be refreshed by God’s Word and strengthened by community. Questions?
