Saturday 8:30 am: “John: The Divinity of Christ:” Men’s Bible Study will resume on Saturday, September 6, 2025, as we continue to study the Book of John using the Jeremiah Bible Study Series book – John: The Divinity of Christ. This Bible Study explores the book of John, offering a chapter-by-chapter analysis that reveals the gospel’s significance to the people of its time and its relevance to Christians today. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t start from the beginning of this study, each lesson stands alone in bringing clarity, conviction, and understanding of one of the greatest accounts of the life of Jesus. If you have been part of this Men’s study before – welcome back! If you haven’t been involved in a Men’s Bible Study, now is your chance to spend time with your brothers in Christ who want to know Jesus better and walk as He walks! Keith Sholander leads this study, and we meet in the “Hospitality Room” beginning with fellowship and go right into study. If you have questions, please contact the church office at 859-689-7590 or email sonya@hebronlutheran.org.
Sundays 10:15 am: “James: Walking in Wisdom:” A new Adult Women’s Bible Study will begin on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The book of James offers practical advice for living a faithful Christian life, focusing on themes like trials, temptations, and the link between faith and good works. This 10-lesson Bible study by Lydia Brownback explores these topics,
highlighting the contrast between earthly and heavenly wisdom. This study will help to quench the thirst for women seeking a deeper understanding of wisdom in faith. Debbie Kloos leads this class on the first-floor classroom #202, the last room on the right. If you have questions, please contact the church office at 859-689-7590 or email sonya@hebronlutheran.org.
Sundays 10:15 am: “God’s Dwelling Places:” A new Adult Bible Study will begin on Sunday, September 7, 2025. From Genesis to Revelation God has chosen to dwell among His people in remarkable ways. These sacred spaces were more than just mere structures—they symbolized God’s presence, His covenant, and His desire for an intimate relationship with humanity.
This Bible study will take us on a journey through the significance of the dwelling places of God that began at the Garden of Eden to the time when Jesus walked the earth and entered Herod’s Temple. We will explore the history, significance, the locations, construction, purpose, and spiritual meaning of each of these important places. In doing so we will discover that each dwelling place is a foreshadow of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ, and lastly to reflect on what these dwelling places mean for us today. This class, instructed by Rick Kloos, takes place in the first-floor classroom #205, located at the end of the corridor on the left. All are welcome to join us each week for study and fellowship. If you have questions, please contact the church office at 859-689-7590 or email sonya@hebronlutheran.org.
