Weather Policy

Services

Hebron Lutheran Church will attempt to hold all scheduled services regardless of weather conditions. All church employees and members are expected to rely on their best judgment and follow the law in making a decision about attending a particular service. Area roadways and their conditions can vary greatly and no judgments should be made about any individual’s decision.  If conditions prohibit musicians or other personnel from reaching the church, a simplified service will be held. Those who are unable to attend worship due to dangerous travel conditions are encouraged to use this opportunity to worship God in their homes.

Other Activities

Other activities, such as rehearsals, special programs and meetings, may be held at the discretion of the activity’s leader.  Again, all leaders and participants are encouraged to use their best judgment and obey the law when making cancellation decisions.  Automatic Cancellation On the rare occasion of Boone County declaring a Level Three Snow Emergency, all scheduled services, activities, and meetings will be cancelled until the emergency is lifted or downgraded.  Local Snow Emergency Policy
